Logistics meeting: A meeting with freight forwarders and exporters was chaired by Minister of Transport and Communications Alexey Lyakhnovich

Traditionally, the working meeting is held by the transport department with the participation of Belarusian Railways. Here, businesses and national government agencies discuss pressing issues arising in the delivery of domestic products to foreign markets.
The key topics of the meeting were:
◾️Elimination of bottlenecks in the implementation of freight transportation by rail, including providing domestic exporters with national services for the dispatch of goods in consolidated container trains
◾️ optimization of tariff conditions for rail transportation of export cargo
◾️ organizing the supply of Belarusian products through the port of Bronka (St. Petersburg) and many others
Separately, the meeting participants discussed the application of the Confirmation of Expected Delivery of Goods (SPOT) system introduced by the Russian Federation. The focus was on the feasibility of a transition period for Belarusian shipments, as well as the challenges faced by shippers when crossing the Belarusian-Russian border.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Customs Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Forestry, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties, the Bellesbumprom and Belneftekhim concerns, the associations of international road carriers and forwarders BAMAP and BAME, large Belarusian exporting enterprises, transport and transport-forwarding companies.
