Quality service + convenient logistics. The first through freight train "Slavic Caravan" departed from Belarus to Uzbekistan

The train will travel along Belarus–Russia–Kazakhstan–Uzbekistan route. Its cargo will consist of wood and food products.
Initially, the train will operate twice a month. Consolidation of railway cars will take place at Orsha-Vostochnaya station. In the future, the range of cargo is planned to be expanded to include containers.
Head of Belarusian Railways Valery Verenich:
"Cargo has previously traveled along Belarus-Uzbekistan route, but now a higher-quality service has been introduced. The train will travel through Russia and Kazakhstan without breaking up or making any additional stops, and will arrive in Uzbekistan. This will cut delivery time almost in half. Importantly, the train can accommodate single 20-ton containers. Small businesses won't have to accumulate cargo for a 60-ton railway car; they can ship it in smaller batches."
Among the advantages of “the Slavic Caravan” are the cost and delivery time of cargo. The project is being implemented in pursuance of high-level decisions to increase the supply of Belarusian products to the Uzbek market.
