More than 1,500 units of special machinery are ready to go out on the roads to clear snow from the national highways

Currently, approximately two hundred sand and salt spreaders, tractors, motor graders, rotors, and loaders are operating on the country's highways.
Due to snowfall, a "Weather Plan" has been issued in Gomel, Grodno, and Brest regions.
According to the Minskavtodor Center dispatch service, national road infrastructure companies have 133,300 tons of sand-salt mixture and approximately 105,000 tons of pure salt at their disposal. 1,517 units of specialized machines are ready for deployment.
Since the beginning of winter, 117,400 tons of sand-salt mixture and 172,400 tons of pure salt have been used to clear snow and ice from national roads.
A 24-hour duty station has been set up at the enterprises of the national highways to collect operational information and promptly respond to the traffic situation.
