Belarus and Turkmenistan have agreed on a quota for the exchange of permits for international road freight transport for 2027

A meeting of Belarusian-Turkmen Joint Committee on International Automobile Transport was held in Minsk.
On the basis of reciprocity, it has been agreed that drivers of vehicles permitted in accordance with the law to carry out international road transport and equipped with digital control devices that meet the requirements of the AETR will be able to use digital tachograph printouts in the territory of both countries.
The meeting participants also discussed options for simplifying administrative procedures for Belarusian carriers to carry out international road transport through Turkmenistan and increasing the possible length of stay for drivers in this country.
