A draft decree "On improving transport and forwarding activities" has been submitted for public discussion

From July 1, 2027, freight forwarders must ensure that information about themselves is included in the state information resource “Unified Register of Freight Forwarders” in electronic form through the unified portal of electronic services of the national automated information system.
After January 1, 2028, the activities of these business entities without including information in the register will be illegal and prohibited.
The adoption of the Decree will:
- streamline the activities of transport and forwarding organizations in the services market;
- improve the instruments of public administration and control over transport and forwarding activities in the country;
- improve market transparency and the quality of service for consumers of transport and forwarding services;
- increase the level of professionalism in the transport and forwarding services market.
Comments and suggestions regarding the draft can be expressed at the Legal Forum of Belarus up to and including March 22, 2026.
