The Ministries of Transport of Belarus and Russia discussed issues of ensuring transport security

The scheduled meeting of Russian-Belarusian working group on transport security was held in Minsk.

The meeting reviewed the progress of the action plan for implementing the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Russia on cooperation in transport security for 2025. The focus was on harmonizing the regulatory framework and exchanging information on threats of unlawful interference.

A draft of a similar action plan for 2026 was also discussed. Among the relevant topics:

  • Transferring data on vehicle passengers and personnel (crew) to automated centralized personal databases
  • Proposal to create a networked educational platform for training transport security specialists at CIS transport universities
  • Prospects for further development of regulatory legal acts in transport security
