A pilot project to implement a driver alertness monitoring system is planned for Gomel region

The corresponding agreement between OJSC “Gomeloblavtotrans” and OJSC “InDev Solutions” was signed on the sidelines of the III Republican Olympiad in Information Technology among students of higher education institutions IT-Challenge 2026, which is being held as part of Digital Week Gomel.
The goal of the project is to improve the quality of passenger transportation and reduce accidents.
The project involves the creation of a hardware and software system equipped with sensors, video cameras, and software to analyze the driver's condition while driving. The sensors will detect the driver's condition and transmit the information to a system managed by the dispatcher.
The project will be launched soon. Gomeloblavtotrans's rolling stock will be equipped with the necessary equipment.
