Alexey Lyakhnovich and Andrey Nikitin discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in transport.

The ministers noted the steady growth of passenger traffic within the Union State and discussed key areas for the development of passenger service.
An agreement was reached on cooperation between agencies to develop high-speed rail service, including the creation of a working group to consider the legal and technical aspects of the project's implementation.
The creation of an alternative tachograph system to the AETR was discussed, including within the Eurasian Economic Union. Alexey Lyakhnovich noted instances of vehicles equipped with 1C smart tachographs entering the Union State. The parties agreed on the need to take joint measures to address AETR violations.
