On April 1, Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree that provides for the creation of a unified state information system for the sale of travel tickets for passenger transportation on regular routes by July 1, 2027

Wednesday, 01 April 2026

The decree defines the participants, owner, and operator of the unified system (SUE "Capital Transport and Communications"). It will be formed by unifying the booking and ticket sales systems and integrating electronic services for international passenger transportation.

It is planned to be created on the basis of the state digital platform "Smart City" with funding from  Minsk City Executive Committee Innovation Fund.

This system is designed for seat reservations, ticket sales, and baggage receipts for suburban, intercity, and international road travel.

At the same time, no increase in expenses for passenger terminals and automobile carriers is expected, which will not lead to an increase in the cost of travel tickets and baggage receipts.

◽️ The development of a national state information system will enhance business transparency in the passenger transportation industry, introduce a digital tool for analyzing passenger traffic and making prompt decisions to optimize the route network. Passengers will receive up-to-date information on bus schedules for all carriers and will be able to choose the optimal route.
