How are road priorities assigned, and how do highway authorities respond to feedback from their users—drivers?

To organize road maintenance work, the regions are assigned to branches of the road authority (the owner of the roads), each of which has several linear road sections in different areas.

Roads are classified according to the level of operational requirements depending on their purpose: main roads and approaches to the regional center belong to the first level, roads connecting district centers with the regional center and approaches to border points belong to the second, and roads connecting district centers with each other and other roads belong to the third.

This distinction influences the organization of maintenance work. Level I roads require daily patrols and defect monitoring, while Level II and Level III roads are inspected once or twice a week. A schedule is drawn up, and specialists drive through their assigned sections to identify potential defects and promptly address them.

Also, for the convenience of drivers and prompt response to problems related to the road situation, a single number, 125, operates in all regions of the republic.
