Sergey Dubina: "The 'From the Heart' campaign is a shining example of a socially oriented state's concern for the elderly"

The Ministry of Transport has joined the national charity campaign. Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Sergei Dubina came to congratulate the residents and staff of the social services center in Minsk's Moskovsky District on the New Year holidays:
"Although the 'From the Heart' campaign is relatively new and has only been held in our country for a few years, it has already become a good tradition. Every year during the New Year holidays, we devote special attention to the youngest Belarusians as part of the 'Our Children' campaign, and we also honor senior citizens and all those who, through their daily work, have created the present day of our Belarus."
According to him, by visiting such institutions, we see that the state is creating all the necessary conditions for citizens who find themselves in difficult situations. Meetings with members of the older generation are invaluable. It is through such interactions that the continuity of generations, a hallmark of Belarusian society, is fostered.
Today, a truly festive atmosphere reigned at the social services center. A concert of songs and dances was prepared for the guests by the center's elderly visitors.
The Social Services Center of Moskovsky District of Minsk helps individuals and families who appeared in difficult life situations. On average, approximately 14,000 people receive services here annually. In total, more than 40,000 citizens are registered with the center.
