Belarus and Turkey have agreed on a quota of permits for international road freight transport for 2026

A meeting of Belarusian-Turkish Joint Commission on International Road Transport took place in Istanbul. The Belarusian Ministry of Transport delegation was led by Andrei Gladkiy, Head of the Department of Road and Urban Passenger Transport.
The agenda of the meeting of transport agency representatives included consideration of issues related to the use of electronic permits.
The parties also decided to extend the experiment on implementing bilateral and transit international cargo transportation (type A) between Belarus and Turkey on a permit-free basis.
