A decision was made to purchase an additional 15 intercity buses for Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
Minsk and Beijing are strengthening their cooperation in the transport sector. The heads of their respective transport agencies held talks on the sidelines of the 2nd “China–Europe” Railway Cooperation Forum. The agenda included cooperation in road, rail, and air transport.
The main topic of the forum, which took place in China, was “Connecting Asia and Europe, Sharing the Future Together.”
The event was organized by the Ministry of Transport jointly with Brest Regional Executive Committee. Representatives of customers, passenger transportation operators, and associations participated.
An annual conference, supported by the Ministry of Transport and Belarusian Railways, has begun at BelSUT.
To meet the demand for rail transport, Belarusian Railways organized passenger transportation from December 24 to January 12.
A delegation from Belarusian Railways took part in a meeting of the Commonwealth Council on Railway Transport in Baku.
The recommendations contain measures aimed at simplifying procedures affecting the movement of passengers (citizens of the five countries) by rail within the EAEU, as well as the development of Eurasian tourist routes using this mode of transport.
A meeting of the High-Level Group of the Council of Ministers of the Union State was held. First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Grigory Glazko participated in the event.
