The 82nd meeting of the Council was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and chaired by Oleg Belozerov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Russian Railways. Participants included heads of railways from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Iran, Latvia, and Estonia, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and the International Confederation of Railway Trade Unions.

A working meeting was held between Minister of Transport and Communications Alexey Lyakhnovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus Alireza Sanei.

High-quality roads ensure comfortable and safe travel for citizens, strengthen the regions' economic potential, and enhance the country's image. Maintaining national roads in good condition is a priority for the Ministry of Transport's road authorities. During the Year of Improvement and the Five-Year Plan, quality is under the special control of the transport agency.

Minimum social standards in public transport services were established by the Government in 2003.

Senior officials, management of the city, ministries and agencies, representatives of public organizations and labor collectives took part in the national campaign "Belarus Remembers."

A delegation from Belarusian Ministry of Transport took part in a meeting of the Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation of Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee, which took place this week in Beijing.

A meeting of the working group on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation was held. Belarusian delegation was led by Minister of Transport and Communications Alexei Lyakhnovich, and Russian delegation was led by Governor of Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin. A protocol was signed following the meeting.

Mogilev welcomed passengers on the first flight, which departed Sheremetyevo Airport at 18:55. The flight was nearly 90% full. Flights on this route will operate twice a week.

The document amends Decree No. 297 dated September 25, 2023, "On the State Registration and Operation of Civil Unmanned Aerial Vehicles." Specifically, it simplifies the procedure for importing UAVs and aircraft models into Belarus for security, law enforcement, and other organizations.
