Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus

The main purpose of the working trip to Minsk was to participate in a meeting of Belarusian-Chinese Joint Commission on International Automobile Transport.

Since the beginning of 2025, work has been completed on the right-of-ways of approximately 450 km of national and more than 2,000 km of local highways, as well as 207 km of railways, to remove waste, dead wood, hazardous trees, and shrubs.

The first meeting of railway executives from the Eurasian Economic Union member states was held in Moscow. Representatives from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia participated in the event.

The corresponding resolution of the Ministry of Transport dated January 9, 2025, No. 1, was published on the National Legal Internet Portal.

During the Year of Improvement, the country plans to repair over 5,000 kilometers of national and local roads.

Negotiations between the transport agencies of both countries took place at Belarusian Ministry of Transport. The main topic of the meeting was expanding cooperation in air transport.

The corresponding Resolution of the Council of Ministers dated March 3, 2025 No. 130 was published on  the National Legal Internet Portal. 

A working meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport between Alexey Lyakhnovich and a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Belarus, led by the head of the diplomatic mission, Rakhmatulla Nazarov.

The transport agencies of the two countries have announced the completion of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this agreement.

A draft Decree amending the Presidential Decree dated August 26, 2008, No. 444 “On Certain Issues of Conducting Competitions for the Right to Perform Regular Passenger Road Transportation” has been submitted for public discussion.
